Sayonara Terry ...

It is with sadness that we report our poetry editor for the last four issues, Terry Jaensch, has decided to hang up the spectacles in order to concentrate on some exciting new projects.

Terry has been an indispensible and inspiring poetry editor in 2003, steering us through the rocky transition to Movable Type with some adroit and adventurous selections.

Starting with our Test Match issue (a baptism of fire for any poetry editor, let alone one who professes no love for cricket), Terry swiftly dispensed with Interim National before setting his sights on the triumphant Zombie and Glitter. I should also note that the theme "Glitter" was Terry's idea alone. This issue, therefore, is dedicated to him.

On behalf of all our editors and readers, I'd like to thank Terry for his contribution to Cordite, and wish him well in the future.

As of our Driver issue (due out in February next year), the poetry reins will be taken by the equally talented and self-assured Liam Ferney, who hails from Brisbane. Look forward to more exciting, invigorating and innovative poetry in the new year. In the meantime, submissions are still open. Check our submissions page for further details.
